All,

I'm really excited to meet new colleagues and reconnect with familiar ones.

Instead of setting up various groups on various social media sites, I've decided this year not to go this route.  Instead, I've created a Yahoo! Pipe.

What's that you ask?  Well the online app allows you to funnel different types of information (RSS feeds, etc.) into 1 resource.  The output of that 1 resource then can be piped into other applications.  For example, images and content tagged with arlisna10 from all over the Web can be easily added to your favorite RSS reader, personalized homepage (e.g. iGoogle), or emailed to you.  It save you time because the information is being automatically collected and the resources have already been found for you.

Here's a video to help illustrate the concept.  It is specifically on our pipe.

Here's the actual Art Library Society of North America 2010's Yahoo! Pipe.

Please tag your content with arlisna10 so that we can share our experience and knowledge with each other and the world.

See you in person & on the Net!
