“Whereas JSTOR is the academic libraries’ most reliable source of digitally archived journal literature; and

Whereas JSTOR has currently digitized only seven architectural titles; and

Whereas the Association of Architecture School Librarians (AASL) authors and maintains a current “Core list of periodical titles for a first-degree program in architecture” [http://www.architecturelibrarians.org/corelist2009.html] which is accepted by the National Architectural Accrediting Board as standard architecture library holdings,

Therefore, we the Architecture Section of the Art Librarians Society of North America (Arlis/NA) resolve to petition JSTOR to comprehensively collect and make available an archival copy of these titles to academic libraries.”
