In August 2009, the Getty Research Institute announced that it would no longer publish the Bibliography of the History of Art database due to budget reductions. Getty’s search for a buyer to continue management of this content has been unsuccessful. As a result, the Bibliography of the History of Art database will no longer be available on the OCLC FirstSearch service as of April 1, 2010. Subscriptions to this database on FirstSearch will continue through March 31, 2010. OCLC will contact FirstSearch subscribers to this database directly about pro-rated credits for any unused portions of their subscriptions.
