Artists Lenore Malen and Perry Bard will present their award winning projects that examine the meaning of community from ecological and technological perspectives. The artists will engage the audience in a conversation about their findings while video clips from their projects stream in the background.
Perry Bard is an artist living in
Lenore Malen uses the lens of history and humor to examine utopian longings and the sciences and technologies that inform them. Working across diverse media she creates historical restagings that incorporate subjects such as Mesmerism, the social structure of ideal and imaginary communities, and most recently the social organization of the beehive. A native New Yorker, she has exhibited in NY,

Initiated in 2004, the Artist Dialogues provide a forum for understanding and appreciation of contemporary art. Artists are paired with critics, curators, writers or other artists to converse about art and the potential of new ideas.
