Dear ARLIS/NA Friends & Colleagues,

 

As spring arrives and we edge ever nearer to the next ARLIS/NA conference, I am regularly filled with some degree of anxiety and excitement – anxiety about all the minutia that needs to be accomplished before getting away; excitement about the opportunities to learn, connect, and reconnect. 

 

Each year the conference provides a vital professional development opportunity, which brings us together to commune about things both artful & informational.  It also allows us to connect with valued colleagues.  And while I regularly come away with solid “professional development” experiences, the personal and professional connections are always particularly rewarding.

 

So, if you’re still on the fence about whether to attend – or still deciding about that “add on” tour or workshop, don’t hesitate.  You won’t regret it.

 

Looking forward to seeing faces old and new in Boston.
