Call for Interest in
Candidacy for ARLIS/NA Executive Board positions
As Chair of the 2010 ARLIS/NA Nominations Committee, I am issuing a call for
interest in candidacy for the following Executive Board positions, in
accordance with Article IX, Section 3 of the ARLIS/NA bylaws:
- Vice-President/President Elect
- Secretary
- Development and Membership Liaison
- Education Liaison
- Chapters’ Liaison
Nominations may also be made by any ARLIS/NA member
eligible to vote; a second by another member eligible to vote is
required. Qualifying nominations should be filed with the Nominating
Committee no more than 60 calendar days from the date of the general
announcement (April 1).
The Nominating Committee may identify other potentially qualified candidates
for each office to be filled.
The slate will be announced in the Fall of 2010, and the terms of office will begin at the 2011 ARLIS/NA Conference.
