The New York Art Resources Consortium (NYARC) is pleased to announce the official launch of http://nyarc.org. NYARC consists of the research libraries of four leading art museums in New York City: The Brooklyn Museum, The Frick Collection, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of Modern Art. This new website highlights the collaborative activities of the consortium and promotes each library's collection through posts in the News & Collection blog. The site also engages visitors by eliciting comments on blog entries and provides a RSS feed for visitors to automatically receive new posts as they are added.

 

"The NYARC website is a dynamic way to announce our new projects and events as well as a way to welcome input from our current and potential users," said Deirdre Lawrence, Principal Librarian at Brooklyn Museum. "We hope it will be a great tool for developing ideas for relevant collaboration that will benefit the research community."
