The ARLIS/NA Twin Cities Chapter will be offering a $200 travel award in 2010. This award is to
encourage professional development by supporting a member to attend the ARLIS/NA
conference in Boston. 

ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants for the award must be current ARLIS/NA & ARLIS/NA Twin Cities Chapter members. 
Only applicants who receive partial or no institutional funding toward the cost of attending
the ARLIS/NA conference are eligible. Preference is given to chapter officers,
conference speakers and moderators, ARLIS/NA committee members, and first-time
attendees. A person who receives an award will not be eligible to apply for another
award until after 3 years.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE & DEADLINE:
Applicants must submit a letter of application (via e-mail) to the members of the Travel
Award Committee. The letter should include a statement of qualifications, the amount
of expected institutional funding, proposed conference program involvement, and
expected benefits or outcomes. The deadline for applications is February 15, 2010. 
The winner of the award will be notified by March 5, 2010. Please send letters of application

We encourage any member who will be going to the Boston Conference to apply. Please
