Much of Ken Smith’s work pushes beyond traditional typologies – plaza, street, and garden – to design that explores the expressive power of landscape as an art form. John Beardsley, who wrote the introduction to
Ken Smith: Landscape Architect, will join him to discuss his parallel approach to contemporary urban projects at two scales: the large scale of conceptual ideas and the small scale of tectonics, materiality, and craft.
