Dear Peter,
The ArchDaily website, http://www.archdaily.com/, has an amazing array of
building plans, drawings and building photographs, which are often
contributed to the site by the offices of the architects who designed the
buildings. I'm not sure what the status of those images is: your students
will have to find out whether they can download them for their projects. The
website is quite amazing, though, in how up-to-date most of the material is,
and how easy it is to search for it.
