Arlisians, is there any chance your library collected and retained the very rare early issues of Eye (0960-779X)? I have a researcher desperate to track down the complete text of an interview the magazine's founder Rick Poynor published in issue no. 3 (spring 1991) with Pierre Bernard. It's tantalizingly excerpted on the Eye website (http://www.eyemagazine.com/feature.php?id=12&fid=35), but we're having a terrible time tracking down a library whose run (based on their holdings listed online in WorldCat, anyway) seems to contain this particular issue. Since Eye itself has put out a call on their website offering to buy these early issues back from collectors, I'm not terribly hopeful, but I thought if any library might retain this issue, it would be an ARLIS library! Thanks for any advice and best, Karyn Hinkle::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Karyn Hinkle Reader Services Librarian Bard Graduate Center Library tel: + 212.501.3035 [log in to unmask] Bard Graduate Center: Decorative Arts, Design History, Material Culture38 West 86th Street, New York, NY 10024 __________________________________________________________________ Mail submissions to [log in to unmask] For information about joining ARLIS/NA see: http://www.arlisna.org/join.html Send administrative matters (file requests, subscription requests, etc) to [log in to unmask] ARLIS-L Archives and subscription maintenance: http://lsv.uky.edu/archives/arlis-l.html Questions may be addressed to list owner (Judy Dyki) at: [log in to unmask]
