Our Art Foundations department chair is interested in getting her department access to digital copies of images, primarily diagrams like the kind you find in textbooks or how-to books, to show overhead to classes. I'm aware of art history image databases and stock photography databases, but not pedagogical images for teaching art. Does anyone have any ideas on where to procure these, besides textbook "collateral" (such as companion slides to Gardner's Art Through the Ages) or asking for permission from publishers to show single images?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
