Colleagues:
This is a call for applications for the H.W. Wilson
Foundation Research Grant. The H.W. Wilson Foundation Research Grant supports
research activities by ARLIS/NA Individual members in the fields of librarianship,
visual resources curatorship, and the arts. The award encourages the
professional development of the membership in their capacities as information
intermediaries and as subject specialists in the arts. Applicants may apply for
award amounts of up to $3,000. If there are multiple applications deserving
support but the total dollars requested in those applications exceed the
Committee's $3,000 annual award budget, the Committee reserves the right to
offer partial funding of the dollar amount requested in an application in order
to provide support for more than one application. Applications and accompanying
material must be postmarked by February 1st, 2010.Guidelines and
application form are available on the Awards and Honors page of the ARLIS/NA
website.
Sincerely,
