Dear ARLIS/NA members

Voting has been open since last Thursday with many members having cast their votes for their favorite new cover designs. If you have not yet done so, I strongly encourage you to make use of your vote before the polls close on December 18th. Please be aware that members who prefer to continue with the current cover design can avail themselves of option #10 on the voting page.

If you have comments you wish to make concerning the competition, you are very welcome to send them directly to the Communications and Publications Committee, either through me as Chair (email below), or through Barbara Rominski ([log in to unmask]) as Executive Board liaison, and we will share them with the committee and jury.

If you wish to post a message to ARLIS-L on this subject, please remember that the people who have willingly submitted designs to the competition include our fellow ARLIS/NA members, and be respectful in your comments.

Finally, concerning the overall process, let me re-state the content of previous emails and the web page (http://www.arlisna.org/artdoc/cover.html). The online voting is designed to generate a shortlist of 3 designs. From that point on, the decision will be up to the jury. This process was reviewed and approved by the Executive Board.

I thank you for participating.

Jonathan
