The Art Collection at Mid-Manhattan Library
is pleased to present 
Shades of Light

by the emerging American Czech artist Michael Kukla. 

In
this site specific installation two marble sculptures offer a playground
for light and shadow. The shapes resemble an ecological evolution resulting
form the movement of time, water, and wind. The 
Vermont

marble used in Shades of Light is the same stone used in the construction of
the Library’s landmark
