Eileen,

Take a look at the Media Resources Center at Cal Berkeley website.  Gary Handman has done a lot of subject guides for the videos they own.  The art history and practice guide is at http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/MRC/Artvid.html

I like to use Gary’s site as a starting point because he has such a comprehensive collection and has done a lot of value adding.

Subject: [ARLIS-L] Is there a source for subject/keyword access to films on art and artists?

I’m not a film collection person, and don’t know how to answer a query for sources of Films about art and/or artists that deal with topics such as: Heroism, Industrialism, Railroads, or Founding Fathers.  Finding films about those topics is easy, finding ones on Art about those topics seems difficult.

Do such sources, sites, or guides exist?
