(With apologies for cross-posting) The editorial team for Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials (Graphics) has submitted a draft of chapters 0-8 to the Bibliographic Standards Committee of the Rare Books and Manuscripts Section of the American Library Association for initial review. Members of DCRM-L (the Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials listserv) are being organized to do an official review, but comments from others are welcome, and should be sent directly to Erin Blake at [log in to unmask] to be shared with the rest of the editorial team. Please feel free to review as much or as little of the document as you like. Keep in mind that it is conceived of as a 2nd edition of Graphic Materials: Rules for Describing Original Items and Historical Collections, compiled by Elisabeth W. Betz, but will also be a module in the Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials "suite" of cataloging manuals (Books and Serials already published; Music, Manuscripts, and Cartographic in progress).
