Hello art catalogers,

 

Could someone please direct me to a discussion about the use of "A4" in call numbers.  My assumptions about it's use keep being shattered because I see it used in a variety of ways:  catalogs; non-catalogs; exhibitions catalogs; non-exhibition catalogs.
