OPPORTUNITIES: THE ARCHITECTURAL RECORDS ROUNDTABLE & LISTSERV
Now that the Society of American Archivists allows its members to join an unlimited number of SAA roundtables, we encourage interested parties to join the Architectural Records Roundtable (ARR). The roundtable supports the preservation of architectural, engineering, landscaping, construction & related records. Further, its mission is to provide a professional forum through which folks may discuss the storage, conservation, arrangement, description, security and legal issues inherent to these specialized materials.
To join ARR, SAA members should follow these instructions:
1. Log into the SAA website:
http://saa.archivists.org/Scripts/4Disapi.dll/4DCGI/logon/logonmain.html
2. Go to the ARR page at
3. Click on "Join/Leave."
4. Click the "Join Roundtable" button.
Non-SAA members may join the roundtable's listserv. If you already have an SAA profile, you can follow the above directions. If you do not have an SAA profile, you can create one by going to the ARR page linked above and along the left of the screen click on "Find/Create an SAA Profile."
Please contact SAA if you have trouble joining the roundtable or the ARR listserv:
