Calling all designers.
Art Documentation, the official ARLIS/NA flagship journal,
is looking for a new cover design. This will be your chance to come up with a
new design and win.
What will the prize be? One year's free membership in
ARLIS/NA (or cash equivalent), plus printed design credit.
Who will be eligible? ARLIS/NA members and design students
at ARLIS/NA members' institutions.
The deadlines and full Submission Guidelines are listed
below, and also posted on the ARLIS/NA website at http://www.arlisna.org/artdoc/cover.html
.
ARLIS/NA members will have the opportunity to view the
submitted designs and vote on a shortlist, from which the winning design will
be selected by the jury. We aim to announce the winner early in the New Year
2010. The new design will have its debut with the Spring 2010 issue of Art
Documentation. Please use your networks to pass the word along to colleagues
and eligible designers in your institutions.
We look forward to receiving plenty of imaginative and
creative designs to match the high standards of what goes inside the covers of
Art Documentation!
