Dear colleagues,

I'm sending this out to several lists, so please forgive the
duplication. I received the following question but have not been able
to locate Lawrence B. Valk archives (nor those of L.B. Valk and son).
Does anyone know where they might be (or, does anyone know that they
have not survived?).

>> A nationally well-known architect, named Lawrence B. Valk, moved his

>> practice from New York to Los Angeles in the 1890s and officed at 424

>> Stimson Block as late as 1908. I understand that his drawings are

>> archived in Los Angeles. Do you know where? Do they happen to be at
UCLA or USC?

Best wishes,

Janine Henri
