We are in the process of setting up a materials library at the Ontario College of Art & Design, and are wondering if there are any classification systems that are specific to material collections.

We are familiar with the CSI MasterFormat, but it is specific to architecture and our materials library will include industrial design and graphic design materials as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
