Hey out there,
I have a question about an older
version of the AIA handbook of professional practice (1987?). An architect is
wondering what the AIA used to recommend as a fee structure per phase –
to my knowledge the AIA has not made recommendations like this in quite some
time - E.g, the Canadian equivalent is like this:
1. Schematic Design 15%
2. Design Development 15%
3. Contract Documents 40%
4. Construction Procurement 5%
5. Construction Administration 25%
