Would you like a unique 2-day workshop for book artists to come to your area?

I recently taught a workshop, The Amazing Dremel, at the Focus on Book Arts  Conference with an overwhelming response. The class filled up the first day of registration and an added second class filled up quickly, leaving many wanting.

This workshop is not about making a book. It is about learning a tool that will allow you to make books (or any craft or art item) out of different and the more unusual materials, the amazing Dremel will do darn near anything to darn near any material. What freedom that gives the artist -- that is the secret to the great response!

This is a tool that would greatly benefit artists. You can drill, cut, carve, etch, shape, polish, and grind non-traditional book making materials such as, glass, plastic, metals, wood, tile and more. You will be able to make books out of just about anything! Think of the creative possibilities that opens up.

I am looking for guilds, art centers, groups or schools that would like to have me come to teach this class (or other classes). I will in the ID, WY, UT, MT  in mid Sept and AL, GA, TN, NC, SC,  in mid October.  I am also working on next year's schedule in other areas. Please visit http://www.mysticalplaces.com/workshops.html for more info on classes than drop me an email if you are interested.

Read a blog of the Dremel class experience by Alissa Campbell and see her samples.

Thank you, Jill
