Hello Megan,
I'd recommend you get a personal copy of the title:
Art Museum Libraries & Librarianship by Joan M. Benedetti.

It's an excellent book, check out the T of C.

Hi I am a new student who is starting out in the field of library and
information science. I was just wondering what time of specific
certificate do you need to become an art librarian? Do you need to have
your masters in art history or something similar. Anyways, right now I
am going for an archive records management certificate and was wondering
if that would be sufficient for starting a career in this field. Thanks
for your time!
Sincerely,
Megan
