The Research Library at the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles
announces online access to 222 of the Library’s collection of Salon
books. Digitization was made possible through a grant from the Sloan
Foundation.
Online access to all of the digitized Salon books is available through
the Internet Archive at http://www.archive.org/ (Search “getty
salon”).
Soon links to all titles will also be available through the Research
Library Online Catalog at
http://www.getty.edu/research/conducting_research/ Researchers
should limit their search to “Electronic Resources.”
We recall an earlier ARLIS-L post regarding Salons and thought that
colleagues might be interested in the highly valuable resource from the
National Gallery of Australia, online at
