ARLIS/NY and Art21 present The Film behind the Book

             4 West 54th Street (just west of 5th Avenue) 
             Bartos Theater and Lobby, Lower Level

ARLIS/NY and Art21, Inc. present a program on contemporary art and the artist book, focusing on artists who are featured in both the PBS television series Art:21-Art in the Twenty-First Century and the MoMA Library's artists' books collection.

This event will explore relationships between artists' books and the strategic use of documentary film as means to illuminate an artist's broader creative practice. 

Art21 will also present media and print resources related to the Art21 documentary project as well as suggestions for ways that librarians can use these materials to support their institutions' educational mission.
