DINING

The Circle Center Mall has many dining options available including P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Subway, and Alcatraz Brewing Company.  A food court is located on the north end of the third floor.

Below are some of our local members’ favorite places to eat in downtown Indy.  The price in brackets corresponds to the average price per entrée.

Recommended for its atmosphere and good food. One doesn’t have to eat expensively as the menu might suggest. The French Dip Sandwich is delicious!  Not a place to go in a hurry-not because they are slow, but because you might just want to linger a little.

NIGHTLIFE

Blues Club. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Slippery Noodle Inn is Indiana’s oldest bar.  Two bands on two separate stages every Friday and Saturday; $5 cover. Full service menu.

Massachusetts Avenue District
Massachusetts Avenue is a great place to go out for a drink. On warmer nights visit the Rathskeller’s Biergarten (410 E. Michigan St.; http://www.rathskeller.com) or sit outside at the Old Point Tavern (401 Massachusetts Ave.). Listen to Jazz at the Chatterbox (435 Massachusetts Ave.; http://www.chatterboxjazz.com ) or plan for dinner and drinks at The Metro (707 Massachusetts Ave.; www.metro-indy.com/index.htm).

Fountain Square District
After dinner at Siam Square Café (see above) stop for a cocktail at the Brass Ring Lounge (1245 S. Shelby St.; www.thebrassringlounge.com), listen to a band at Radio Radio (1119 Prospect St.; http://www.futureshock.net/radioframeset.html),  or Duckpin bowl in a 1930s atmosphere at Action Duckpin Bowl & Atomic Bowl Duckpin (1105 Prospect St; http://www.fountainsquareindy.com).  A cab from and to the hotel is recommended.
