On behalf of the Ohio Valley Chapter of ARLIS, the Travel Award Committee (Maggie Castellani, Cataloger, Cleveland Museum of Art and Ellie Ward, Librarian, Akron Art Museum) is pleased to announce Allison Huftalen as this year’s recipient of the 2009 Spring Travel Award.  Allison is currently a Catalog Librarian at the Toledo Museum of Art and graciously volunteered last fall to become the editor of the Ohio Valley electronic newsletter, Collage.  Allison received her M.L.S. from St. John’s University and her M.A. in Art History and Criticism from Stony Brook University.  She previously worked as an Archives and Special Collections Assistant at St. John's University and as an independent researcher before coming to the Toledo Museum of Art.  Allison has attended several Ohio Valley meetings and is looking forward to attending her first ARLIS/NA Conference in Indianapolis this April.  Congratulations Allison!
