Dear ARLIS/NA colleagues,
Shilpa Rele and I are organizing the Resume Workshop at this year's ARLIS/NA conference in Indianapolis. We are seeking are still seeking resume reviewers. The resume reviewers will be paired with resume writers to give personalized advice during one-on-one meetings. Resume reviewers only have to commit about 2 hours of time during the latter part of workshop.
The workshop is scheduled on Friday April 17, from 8:00am to 12:00pm. It will accommodate a maximum of 20 participants (i.e. resume writers)
and will be free of charge.
The Resume workshop is aimed at new and current professionals seeking jobs in the fields of art librarianship and visual resources. Speakers
will talk about strategies related to resume and cover letter writing, and job searching skills.
We would be thrilled if you would be willing to participate in the workshop. We know your expertise will be very much appreciated by the
participants. Please let us know if you would like to volunteer as a resume reviewer by Friday March 13.
