The Currier Museum of Art owns the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Zimmerman
House, the only Wright house in New England open to the public. The
Library holds the archives documenting the planning and construction of
the house, the work done to open the house as a museum, and the personal
papers and books of the Zimmermans. The Zimmermans became art collectors
and filled the house with objects. Their papers and books show their
evolution as collectors, as well as their education in Japanese art,
architecture, and gardens, and other topics designated by Wright.

We now have a searchable materials list available on the Library's
computers and a summary finding aid, also searchable, on the
Library/Archives page of the Museum's Web site
(http://www.currier.org/visit/3col.aspx?id=1664 ). Please let anyone who
might be interested in seeing material from this archive know about this
resource. They should contact me to arrange a visit.

Thank you,

Alison
