Hi Lee,

Kate forwarded me your inquiry and I do think this may be of interest to
the ARLIS community, so I am sharing this exchange with the list.

>>1. Do all three of these libraries catalog on OCLC, i.e., could this
search be replicated there (I hasten to add it's much more efficient via
Arcade, nice going)?

All three libraries do catalog in OCLC and the search can be replicated
in WorldCat with the caveat that we still have some gap files from our
transition period from RLIN to batch load into OCLC.

>>2. I'd like to link to your link of WWII Provenance auto search from a

libguide I've written on provenance research. I tried to copy the link
but
it's not going through. A) May I do that, and B) is there an html
source
that I could copy into a libguide page?

We would be very happy if you would add our WWII Provenance Bibliography
to your library guide. This bibliography is regularly updated with
appropriate materials, so it would be best to link to it directly
through Arcade to access the most current version. I have included the
link below:

http://arcade.nyarc.org/search~S1/?searchtype=f&searcharg=wwii|&searchsc
ope=1&sortdropdown=t&SORT=D

Please let me know if this link doesn't work for you. We do not maintain
a separate html list of titles, but I would be happy to provide you with
a title list from the bibliography if you would find that useful.

Feel free to ask any other questions you may have about this project.

Regards,
Lily

Major New York City Art Museum Libraries for the Future of Art Research

Kate:

This might be a question everyone at ARLIS is interested in, but I'm
only
sharing with you. Please post if you wish:

1. Do all three of these libraries catalog on OCLC, i.e., could this
search
be replicated there (I hasten to add it's much more efficient via
Arcade,
nice going)?

2. I'd like to link to your link of WWII Provenance auto search from a
libguide I've written on provenance research. I tried to copy the link
but
it's not going through. A) May I do that, and B) is there an html
source
that I could copy into a libguide page?

Thanks tons for announcing this to the membership.
