Announcing Roommate Search on the ARLIS/NA Conference Blog

* Have a room and looking for a roommate?
Many of you are likely making plans for your stays in Indianapolis, and there has been a lot of discussion on the listserv about tight budgets and limited or disappearing funding. We hope that many will still find ways to make it to what promises to be a very informative and enjoyable conference in Indianapolis. One way to easily save money on travel costs is to share a hotel room with another ARLISian. While some people have friends that they usually meet up with at the conference, others, particularly newer attendees, might not have connected yet with roommates for the conference.
We would like to offer the blog as one place to locate a roommate. Visit the blog at http://arlisnaindy.wordpress.com and click on the “Roommate Search” category on the right hand side. This will take you to the “Roommate Searches” posting — below the post you’ll have the opportunity to “Leave a reply”. Feel free to use that section of this blog post to advertise your need for a roommate. Share whatever information you are comfortable with, and interested parties can follow up off of the blog. This blog is currently set up so that it is not searchable by search engines, which gives added privacy. If you do not wish to post an e-mail or other contact information in the comment section, feel free to send this information to Jessica in her contact form (linked from the blog post), and she will compile it and send it out to interested parties (others who have provided this info).
