Speaking of Grove Art, I'd like to take a poll.

On your library website, who has changed the title link for "Grove Art
Online" to "Oxford Art Online" since the name changed this past Summer?

Who has left it as "Grove Art Online" -- who references both -- any other
solutions?

I appreciate your time and input.

Subject: [ARLIS-L] Grove Art seeks suggestions

I, along with Eve Sinaiko, who posted the following on the CAAH list,
serve on an advisory board for Grove Art Online (formerly the Grove
Dictionary of Art), published by Oxford University Press. Eve's text is
so lucid that I have forwarded it to our ARLIS/NA list. The editors of
Grove Art Online are currently soliciting suggestions for updates and
revisions in Grove's contemporary art coverage. They're looking for

(a) Topics that have not been covered at all in Grove and are egregious
omissions

(b) Topics that have been covered in Grove, but inadequately so, or
instances where a Grove article sorely needs correcting or updating

Suggestions can include all manner of subjects worldwide (materials,
styles,
movements, people, places, groups, etc.). This is an ongoing project,
and of
course Grove has scholars and editors, but also welcomes feedback from
users. Your suggestions will help with prioritizing

Most of you (I hope!) have access to Grove through your institutional
affiliations. But if you're not a regular user of Grove, take a look:
http://www.oxfordartonline.com/public/.

Regards,
Eve Sinaiko

Eve's message was, of course, directed primarily to non-librarians, as
her final paragraph suggests, but those of us on the ARLIS/NA list have
much experience with Grove Art Online, now via Oxfordartonline, so our
input is important as well, and there are other librarians on the
Advisory Committee other than me, such as Lee Sorenson at Duke.

Thus, if any of you would like to respond to the above, please do so,
but to me, and I will forward them.

Thank you all very much,

Jeffrey
