I remember back in the 1990's that RISS (Reference and Instruction
Services Section) circulated a binder with an assortment of library
instruction handouts from various ARLIS libraries, though I don't
remember where it eventually ended up. I imagine those handouts would
all be quite out-of-date by now. I believe that the effort was
abandoned because it took too long for the binder to circulate among all
the libraries requesting it and it got quite full and heavy to ship. It
was great while it lasted though.
Is that what you were thinking of Joan?

Yesterday I posted an email regarding library brochures; I was asking
for you to send me samples of what you've got.
People are requesting that I share what I have received. It's difficult
to send an email with large attachments. Therefore, if you send me your
brochure, I would be happy to put it on my wiki and then send that link
out to the ARLIS listserv for all to see. I can even post it on the
Facebook page too...lol. Seriously, though if you want to share your
brochure with all ARLIS members send it to me at [log in to unmask]
and I'll post it to my wiki.
