The ARLIS/NY Chapter is pleased to announce Christine M. Sala as the
recipient of the 2008 ARLIS/NY Professional Development Award. This
award offers $500 for a professional with at least two years of ARLIS/NA
and ARLIS/NY membership.
Chris is the Architecture Bibliographer at the Avery Architectural and
Fine Arts Library at Columbia University. She plans to use the award
toward her attendance at the Association of Architectural School
Librarians this March in Portland, Oregon. She has never before attended
this conference and will also take this opportunity to visit the
Portland Art Museum and Library; White Stag, home of the University of
Oregon in Portland; and the Portland Library & Learning Commons.
