APPEL DE CANDIDATURES:

BOURSES DE PERFECTIONNEMENT PROFESSIONNEL ARLIS/NA/MOQ 2009

 

ARLIS/NA/MOQ a le plaisir d'annoncer son programme de Bourses de perfectionnement professionnel pour l'année 2009. Les candidatures doivent être reçues au plus tard le lundi 26 janvier 2009. 

 

I.  BOURSE DE VOYAGE MICHELLE GAUTHIER ($800)

 

But: Promouvoir le perfectionnement professionnel en défrayant une partie des frais de participation au Congrès annuel d'ARLIS/NA qui aura lieu à Indianapolis, Indiana du 16 au 21 avril 2009.

 

Conditions d'admissibilité:

 

• Le candidat doit être membre d'ARLIS/NA et d'ARLIS/NA/MOQ pour assister au

  Congrès.

• Le candidat doit être dans l'impossibilité de recevoir de son institution le

  montant total des frais de voyage pour sa participation au Congrès.

• La préférence sera accordée aux candidats qui assisteront au Congrès pour la

  première fois et/ou aux membres qui participent activement au Congrès, i.e. qui

  présentent une conférence, agissent comme modérateur ou secrétaire d'atelier,

  siègent sur un comité d'ARLIS/NA, etc.

• Les membres étudiants sont éligibles.

• Au cours d'une même année, la bourse ne peut être accordée à un récipiendaire

  d'une bourse de voyage d'ARLIS/NA.

• Le récipiendaire devra rédiger un court rapport qui sera publié dans MOQDOC.

II. BOURSE DE VOYAGE SPÉCIALE ($500)

 

But: Promouvoir le développement professionnel en offrant un soutien financier pour les frais de voyages encourus afin de participer à une conférence touchant le domaine de la bibliothéconomie spécialisée en art (à l'exclusion de la conférence annuelle d'ARLIS/NA pour laquelle existe déjà une Bourse de voyage offerte par ARLIS/NA/MOQ).

 

Conditions d'admissibilité:

 

• Le candidat doit être membre d'ARLIS/NA/MOQ.

• Le candidat doit être dans l'impossibilité de recevoir de son institution le

  montant total des frais de voyage pour sa participation à l’activité choisie.

• La préférence sera accordée aux candidats qui assisteront pour la

  première fois et/ou aux membres qui participent activement à l’activité, i.e.

  qui   présentent une conférence, agissent comme modérateur ou secrétaire

  d'atelier, siègent sur un comité, etc.

• Les membres étudiants sont éligibles.

• Au cours d'une même année, la bourse ne peut être accordée à un récipiendaire

  d'une bourse de voyage d'ARLIS pour la même activité.

• Le dossier remis au Comité devrait décrire les retombées professionnelles

  escomptées par le candidat aux niveau personnel, institutionnel et/ou

  collectif, tant pour lui-même que pour ses pairs.

• Le récipiendaire devra rédiger un court rapport qui sera publié dans MOQDOC.

ARLIS/NA/MOQ is pleased to announce its Professional Development Awards for 2009. Applications must be received by Monday, 26 January 2009.

 

I.   TRAVEL AWARD MICHELLE GAUTHIER ($800)

 

Purpose: to promote professional development by supporting travel to the ARLIS/NA Annual Conference which will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from April 16-21, 2009.

 

Eligibility:

 

• Applicant must be a member of ARLIS/NA and ARLIS/NA/MOQ to attend the conference.

• Applicant must be unable to receive full institutional funding for travel to the conference.

• Preference is given to applicants who are first-time attendees and/or who are

  involved in the conference program, i.e. presenting a paper, serving as

  moderator or recorder of a session, serving on an ARLIS/NA committee, etc.

• The award is open to student members.

• The award may not be given in the same year to the winner of an ARLIS/NA Travel

  Award.

• The recipient must prepare a short report which will be published in MOQDOC.

Purpose:  to promote professional development by supporting travel to conferences of interest to art librarianship (conferences other than the ARLIS/NA annual conference which is already supported by the Chapter's Travel Award)

 

Eligibility:

 

• Applicant must be a member of ARLIS/NA/MOQ.

• Applicant must be unable to receive full institutional funding for travel to

  a conference.

• Preference is given to applicants who are first-time attendees and/or who are

  involved in the conference program, i.e. presenting a paper, serving as

  moderator or recorder of a session, serving on a committee, etc.

• The award is open to student members.

• The award may not be given in the same year to the winner of an ARLIS travel

  award to the same activity.

• An application submitted to the Committee should state what professional

  benefits the applicant anticipates for himself and his peers at the

  professional, institutional and/or collective levels.

• The recipient must prepare a short report which will be published in MOQDOC.
