You are welcome to visit the gallery  to view the installation of The Third Exhibition of American Decorated Publishers' Bindings, 1872-1929.

I am pleased to inform you that the entire Second Exhibition, with 300 designs and many variants, was acquired by The Lilly Library at Indiana University. The First Exhibition, with 500 designs, was acquired by The Hoole Library at The University of Alabama.

Pre-publication discount subscriptions are now available for the catalog of the third exhibition, which will have images and bibliographic data for 300 wonderful designs that were not in either of the previous two exhibitions. Limited, Deluxe, and CD-ROM versions of the catalog will be issued. The current pricing is in effect until December 31, 2008, and the price will increase on January 1, 2009. Subscription information is at http://minsky.com/orderform-subscription3.htm

This exhibition is open now by appointment. If you plan to be near Hudson, NY (a half hour south of Albany, 2 hours north of NYC), send me an e-mail and I will generally be able to accommodate your schedule. As with the previous shows on this subject, the exhibition will be up for as long as it takes to photograph all the books and catalog them, which will likely be mid-summer or early autumn 2009. Meanwhile, you can preview the exhibition at http://minsky.com/gallery.htm

Warm wishes for a happy holiday, with peace and prosperity in 2009,

Richard
