I have a student who is doing research on Tintoretto's painting of Leda and the Swan for her senior thesis.  She has found very little information about the painting thus far (the provenance or any analysis of it), and I was wondering if anyone out there had other ideas.   We've found minimal resources in the usual suspects (Art Abstracts, Art Index Retrospective, BHA, etc.), including the article, "Uffizi : le due "Lede" del Tintoretto restaurate."     She has checked the Uffizi web site and will try to contact someone there.   At Hampshire our art reference section is pretty limited.  Does anyone have any other ideas?    You can write directly to me at the email below.   Thanks very much in advance.
