Greetings:
From November 30-December 3 the ARLIS/NA Texas-Mexico Chapter met in
Guadalajara for its annual meeting in conjunction with the Guadalajara
International Book Fair (FIL). Thanks go to chapter President Selene
Hinojosa and Vice President Carla Ellard who organized a meeting that
offered a unique opportunity for attendees to not only network with
colleagues and experience a multitude of sights, sounds, and tastes
afforded by the surroundings but also pursue collection development
opportunities at FIL. Most chapter members were able to benefit from
the American Library Association's Free Pass Program helping to offset
meeting attendance costs.
