Hi,   Many thanks for all your help with my former question about Russian metalworkers.   My next puzzle is trying to find the life and death dates of Vassily Ivanovich Zuiev (Vassilj alternate?)  He painted portrait miniatures in Russia.  Artnet and other Internet sources give his dates as 1870-1917 - which contradict the info. on a piece by him that is listed on the Faberge work books.  That piece is listed at 1884 - which would have made him only 14 years old when he did this very complex work.  I suspect that the dates I have are the dates when he was "active", rather than his "life" dates.   Any ideas?
