Since I'm receiving similar questions about the videos, I'm forwarding a message I sent to the VRA listserv that outlines details about the project.

If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to be in touch.

Dear Eileen:

Thanks for the kind words.

I wrote the scripts for all the videos with the exception of the Slide Scanning video which was written by our Metadata Librarian Robert Carter.  We worked with a local video producer named Mike Dow who took our scripts and created the videos.  He worked with David Brown who provided the voice-overs.  Our production timeline was as follows:

June 2, 2008 – Client accepts proposal
June 13, 2008– Client delivers first draft scripts for collaboration
June 16, 2008 – Mike Dow delivers collaborative script edits
June 18, 2008 – Client approves final scripts
June 29, 2008 – Mike Dow delivers first draft videos
July 8, 2008 – Client views first video drafts, make suggestions and final changes
August 4, 2008 – Mike Dow delivers final videos

I created a YouTube account for the VRC and uploaded them--no problem.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Cheers,
/Elizabeth

These are wonderful Elizabeth.  I especially like the “PowerPoint Tip”.  We are just starting a Podcasting initiative here, and I’ve forwarded your links to the entire committee.

Can you tell us a little more about how you produced them?
