Hi Marc,
I have a faculty member here who is a few years away from
having a fabulous group of artistic tribute coats that they are making. I
have seen a finished piece, a tribute to Maya Angelou that blew me away.
She’s currently working on a piece for Rachel Carson, where she’s
creating felt for the fabric incorporating symbols with meaning attached to

She’s a faculty member in Theatre here and mostly designs costumes.
This is her first foray into pieces as art (not part of the production). I
wondered if you knew of galleries/museums that might be interested in
exhibiting this kind of work – or could direct me to a resource for this
information?
