Here at Maine College of Art, we have had exhibitions of student work and of artist books from the collection, special tours and talks for new and potential board members and donors, visits by local school kids, and have participated in the Maine Festival of the Books as a venue for writers and as exhibit space. Some events are to the MECA community only, some are open to the public. To date all have been successful - relatively good turnouts, favorable "reviews" and definitely increased appreciation of what the library means to and does for the institution. Hope this helps.
