Dear ARLIS members,
I am an ARLIS member writing in my capacity as a member of the Coldspring (TX) Public Library board. We received anonymously as a silent auction item a large, adjustable wood bookstand, which I hope some of you can help us identify. Our webpage, to which I have provided a link, has 4 photos. It is approximately 48 inches tall, 30.5 inches wide (corresponding to the height of the book it could hold), and has a central area covered with blue felt-like material (on which the spine would rest) about 4.6 inches wide. We can find no markings on it. It has metal hinges and flat-head screws. Each of the four casters has 2 wooden wheels about 7/8" in diameter. Each of those wheels is like a a short cylindrical solid with a cone-shaped top (on its side--the two cone-shaped tops on each caster facing each other). The stand is in excellent condition, and (to my eye) has been refinished. We would appreciate any help in identifying this. http://www.coldspringlibrary.com/
Thanks!
