Colleagues,

The DC-MD-VA Chapter of ARLIS/NA is pleased to announce that Kimberly
Detterbeck has been chosen as the recipient of the 2008 Student Travel
Award.

Kim is earning her Master of Library and Information Science degree at the
University of Maryland, and holds an M.A. in Art History from Syracuse. She
lends her enthusiasm to her position as the Graduate Assistant for the Art
and Architecture Libraries at the University of Maryland. In this position,
Kim has designed a new web page for the Libraries, and is overseeing the
efforts to implement the redesigned site. In addition, Kim maintains the
website for the DC-MD-VA chapter of ARLIS/NA.

Our chapter is thrilled to be able to offer financial assistance to Kim as
she travels to Denver for the annual conference. Congratulations, Kim!
