Greetings,
I was forwarded this information by my friend Christine Nichols and 
wrote to this gentleman immediately.  I was surprised not only by the 
proximity to the Spiral Jetty (which would less affected by the 
drilling itself, in the middle of the lake, than by the 
infrastructure on the shore), but to the Golden Spike site, one of 
most historic places in Utah.

If you are interested in the exact location of the Spiral Jetty, you 
can zoom out from this Google map:

The drilling site, if you zoom out, is about halfway between the 
Jetty at Rozel Point and the small high-heel shaped island to the 
SW.  The report is long but at the end...Halliburton!
