I’m glad someone mentioned
architecture! With the construction management degree in mind I would
want to have the latest ed. of Sir Banister Fletcher’s a history of
architecture as well as the Phaidon atlas of contemporary world architecture.
And with the packaging design degree in mind, maybe some kind of design
yearbook such as the Red Dot Design Yearbook? Of course this is without
seeing the specifics of the curriculum.

Hi Terrie, I would buy a general survey book as others
have recommended, but for the other four titles I would look for materials on
the art and architecture of the region.

These can be reference books, but they must fit the
criteria and we must not have them online. My first thought was something
