Registration for ARLIS/NA at Altitude, the 36^th annual ARLIS/NA conference to be held in vibrant downtown Denver, Colorado, opens at 12 noon (that’s high noon) MST, on Monday January 14^th.  Register early to get your first choices of tours and workshops!

 

The conference presents a range of programming designed to appeal to art librarians across the spectrum with relevant, intriguing topics and discussions. 

 

We have many wonderful events scheduled, from convocation and the Welcome Party, Sunset over the Rockies, to plenary speakers who will tackle universal issues in librarianship and whet your appetite for Denver’s history, art and architecture.  A special session on the design and construction of the Denver Art Museum’s Hamilton building will precede a very special party there:  ARLIS/NA at Altitude: a Big DAM Party. 

 

Spend time with the exhibitors, browsing through and discussing the literature and resources available on art and art history from around the world, and enjoy relaxing morning coffees and the Silent Auction happy hour in the exhibits hall. 

 

The Mountain West chapter has been working hard to ensure this conference will be informative and entertaining in a way that will showcase the Mile High City.  Come get caught up on issues related to art librarianship as well as to get caught up on the news of your friends and colleagues from around the United States, Canada, Mexico and beyond.
