Dear colleagues,
Queens College Art Center is very pleased
to invite you to its new exhibition, no. 144 in the Rosenthal Library,
Brush With Nature: Installation Art by Barbara Roux that
focuses on habitat changes in New York’s remaining natural landscapes.
Roux's environmental artwork explores the powers and struggles of nature.
Co-sponsored by the Department of Biology and by the School of Earth and
Environmental Sciences, the exhibition continues Queens College’s participation
in Focus the Nation, a national educational initiative aimed at raising
awareness about climate change and global warming.
Barbara Roux will give a gallery talk
tomorrow, Thursday, November 8 from 5 to 6 pm and a reception will follow
to 8 pm. The exhibition will be on view through December 21. More events
